It was one of those days where the weather really got you down. Gray clouds gathered overhead, threatening to start raining at any moment, but something like that wouldn't make Antionetta stay inside. It had only taken her a glance out of a window to see the forecast and work out this might just about be one of the alright days before winter fully set in.
The Headmistress was now found down by the forest, leaves like a blanket on the ground, thanks to the large trees that gathered around it. Her hair was scraped back into a messy bun, convinced that as today was a weekend, there was no point styling her hair properly. Her olive complexion looked at home in the nearing winter weather, and the black cloak that was hanging loosely from her shoulders kept her somewhat warm.
For it was rather chilly out, and as the night was drawing nearer, the temperatures were barely above 10 degrees Celsius. But something about early morning and late evening held a special spot in heart, as she found them such pretty times of the day. Antionetta knew that it was a little late to be out, but hey, she's the boss right?
Besides, no one else was here at the moment, so she had quite a good hour to waste doing…. not a lot. She wrapped the dark cloak around her body tighter, doing up a couple of the buttons as the wind blew rashly around the grounds, leaves falling off the leaves by the dozen. She watched as they swirled down to the ground around her, and turned her face into the wind to feel the full force of it.
Only a couple of minutes later did the wind die down into a breeze, allowing her to continue her way farther into the forest. She looked around for a few minutes, checking for dangerous animals and such, before reaching a grassy patch that had been untouched by the falling leaves.
She pulled the cloak tightly around her and sat down carefully, letting go of the material as soon as she was sat and looked out onto the grounds as she wondered if anyone else was out at this time of day. Most likely they were all gathered inside for fear of being rained on. Truthfully, nettie didn’t mind the slightest bit the water that fell from the sky. It made her feel refreshed. But as of yet it was not raining.
